My name is Toby Jones, I have lived in Monreal for the last 2 years and have polish Jamacian heritage. I am a college student and work part time, but also have time to develop personal hobbies and learn what it mmeans to be an adult as I gain more responsbilities.
I absolutly love the city, especially the big city. since coming to montreal on vacation as a child and again in the summer of 2016, I fell in love with the signts and vibrancy and the soul of the busy life in the city. many things I experience when growing up had almost none of the things that are a common and often ignored part of montreal. so still to this day I internally celebrate and and constantly engaged and interested in the little things I see at every possible second on the street and around the town. This picture I took however is from Toronto which has many of the same characteristics as montreal that I said but Montreal will always have a special place in my heart. Im very proud of this picture just for the looks and the scale you can feel, its very respresentative of what its like in the city, and I love to use it as a phone wallpaper sometimes.
My new life in montreal has changed and introduced an uncountable amount of things into my broaded horizen and understanding, one of those things to come out of that is a reignited appretiontion for performed arts and the musical genre of Rap. So there comes to no surpise that my first rap concert would be a result and a symbol for the new ways aI can be engaged by the city, and I couldnt have been happier about it.This picutre is from a A$AP Ferg concert at new city gaz and it was really mind blowing everything from that night and experience there, I cant wait to do something like that again and this picture does nothing other than make me want to go back.
My family is very close to me, I depend on them more than I realise and also they do aswell. My mother was born and raised in Poland during the 80's and upon her family moving to Canada, she became increasingly independatnt through necessity and started a family that she would give up everything for. My sister is a very intelegent and caring girl who has a very strong furture ahead of her and when im not guiding her from bad infuleces or not joking around, I instead admire everything she has acomplished and who she has become as a person. This photo is from Cuba at the end of the last semister or perhaps just after the final exams, and whats most important to me was that it showed how funny my mom and sister are when they are drunk.
Skiing since the age of 10 and every winter since has been my little getaway from school work and become closer with nature. I absolutly love the cold even when my body disagrees. I always try to improve
